Health Care Directive or Living Will

A health care directive, or living will, allows a person to state their personal wishes about life-prolonging medical treatment should they not be able to communicate those wishes in person. These documents are a way for you to tell the doctors how you want to be cared for. This can oftentimes save your family from having to make difficult decisions during a traumatic time.
